She found a need to partner with realtors and new home builders to bridge the gap with homeowners!
We spoke with Interior Design Wonders, and it became clear that the owner had identified a significant gap in the industry. A shortage of trusted contractors and trades to help potential new homeowners transform their houses into homes. Recognizing this need, she channeled her expertise and passion for remodeling, design, and problem-solving to bridge this gap.
Below is what the owner of IDW had stated during our interview.
"Over the last 16 years in real estate & the new home sales industry, I found that many clients had found themselves purchasing homes that didn’t quite meet all their expectations.
In new construction homes, for example, essential spaces like media rooms and home offices often lacked doors, requiring walls to be adjusted for privacy. Patios were minimally covered leaving no room to entertain outdoors. Cabinet, closet and storage space was lacking. Kitchens were sometimes finished with basic tile and standard backsplashes, while builder-grade appliances, fixtures, lighting, and carpet left much to be desired.
I also observed that Realtors spent months driving clients from house to house, searching for the perfect new or pre-owned home—only for buyers to hesitate purchasing. They were left feeling that the property didn’t match their vision or that they could "not" justify the high price and interest rates. Others walked away from incredible opportunities—homes with ideal locations, large lot sizes, excellent school districts, and great tax benefits—simply because they felt that making even the smallest changes to the home would be too complicated or they didn’t know a trusted design and remodeling team to bring their vision to life.
As a result, many buyers missed out on what could have been their dream home—one that, with a few thoughtful and budget friendly renovations and expert guidance, could have perfectly aligned with their vision. With our help, they could have transformed a promising house into the home they had always imagined".
